Cop sighting: double header

Thursday night, seven p.m.: the EPD "Supervisor" SUV was parked in front of Romeo's on Lincoln St. The headlights were on, blasting into the storefront. Was he just annoying patrons? Or was he using tax-funded money to pick up his dinner?

Friday night, 9 p.m.: two EPD SUVs at the Shell gas station. One car was empty. The other pulled out onto Epping road headed north. The car pulled over and put the blue lights on by Park St. Who knows why?

A town where police are so commonly seen patrolling does not feel safe. Who in their right mind doesn't feel anxious what a patrol is driving right behind them?
