Josh Denton: danger

This Portsmouth city councilor agitated for the ability for towns to ban plastic bags. Thank goodness it failed. Denton does not understand property rights and how strict respect for private property would eliminate the alleged need for environmental regulations.

He is a danger, and I gather this from this line:

...time is on our side...

He recognizes that in the current state of American affairs, people do not understand economics, markets, liberty, property, and so on. They have not read Mises, Rothbard, or Hazlitt. He knows that socialism and fascism will win support piece by piece, gradually, as the ratchet turns.

Education is key, and not enough people have it. Agitators like Denton can use intellectually flawed arguments to win over the masses...eventually.
