The Seacoast prison for children

SAU 16 will not be safer because former police chief Richard 100k* Kane is installing “security films” (they already have security cameras). This is solving a problem that doesn’t exist. It is a just another $50,000 in taxpayer dollars (local taxes and taxes that fund DHS) to enrich the politically connected. How the superintendent “found” the money in the existing budget is beyond me, since they always seem to need more. This is nothing but the creep of the prison state's security theater, scaring parents and kids into thinking that a terrorist lurks behind every chalkboard.

By the way, should we presume that these “security films” work both ways? If you can’t break it from the outside, can you do so from the inside, in case you need an emergency exit?

*Anybody figure out what is pension is?
