For the record (even though I will be excommunicated)

I will not be participating in today's sacrament: I will not vote.

And, to boot, I retain every right to complain about the results. For those who try to argue otherwise: what are the odds that a single vote will change even local elections? Slim to none. If any election is decided by one vote, then I'll eat my words, but for now, I'm just playing the odds and saving my time.

On the other hand, for those who are unhappy with political atheism, why not add "none of the above" to ballots? I guarantee that turnout will be far higher than it is. (Obviously, this will never happen. The very people who moan about the importance of voting have no problem limiting voter options. They think we are too stupid to know what's good for us.)

Another question to ask the militant voter: would you rather have 100% turnout for a candidate you absolutely hate or 5% turnout for a candidate you want to win?
