I happen to check out the "fall" festival today. Surprisingly, not a single leaf had changed color. What else do we expect from a place that observes Independence Day two weeks late and that marks Halloween on some random day at the end of October?
Most of the booths were occupied by vendors selling stuff. I wonder how much "revenue" was "generated" for the "town." I did laugh to myself when I entered the parkway and saw a giant "Convenient MD" advertisement.
Incidentally, I happen to be at another open-public event today, where a drone flew overhead for photographs. I must say, they are creepy and weird, very unnatural things in the sky. Overhearing many conversations there, I knew that I was not alone. This is all the more reason to improve clear private property rights instead of politically determined ordinances and regulations.
