HB1606 would reduce the minimum drinking age to 18 (with 21+ accompaniment). This would greatly expand the "revenue" collected the the state controlled liquor monopoly. Yet, it would (just slightly) diminish the lucrative war on drugs that so enrich the police state. What to do?
I would be shocked if the got a whimper of outside support, all in the name of "public safety."
